Keep It Local Café was born from a simple idea: that community and connection matter more than what’s in your glass.
Founder Gail Lightle grew up in England, where pubs were the heartbeat of daily life. After stepping away from alcohol, she discovered a new world of plant-based beverages like kava, kombucha, and botanical elixirs — drinks that offered relaxation, flavor, and a sense of belonging without the hangover. Inspired to share this experience, she created a space where locals and visitors alike can connect in a mindful, welcoming environment.
By day, Keep It Local Café is a non-alcoholic bar offering artisan coffee, teas, mocktails, kava, and kombucha. By weekend nights, we transform into a wine bar and small plates eatery, perfect for date nights, live music, and community gatherings. We also offer catering and private venue rentals — making us the go-to spot in Cocoa Village for weddings, parties, and special events.
